Rising 4's - Foxes

Our older children occupy a separate building, with it's own outside area.

Children move into the Rising 4's building in the September following their 3rd birthday. Our older children benefit from being in their own "year group" building with a carefully planned play-based curriculum. This provides the children with a rich variety of activities and experiences, with a balance of formal and informal learning opportunities.

"School Readiness" is supported through daily phonics activities, which include learning letter sounds. There are also lots of opportunities for children to develop their scissor and name writing skills, as well as self-help skills, such as putting on their coat.

Our curriculum follows the government's "Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)" Curriculum from birth to five years. The children will follow this curriculum through to the end of the Reception Year at school. Please click on the links below to view further information.
